This instructor led training is a one-hour lesson that is part of an 8 lesson module on leadership. This specific lesson is module 6 of 8 and builds on what students have already learned about active listening and empathy. 

What I was given: a list of listening blocks, a template for the slides, outcomes, and a document to create the script. 

What I did: In the video, you'll see a walkthrough of my approach. The materials are also linked out below. I was asked to start with the script to be approved by my team lead. When considering what students learned about active listening and empathy in previous lessons, I focused on revisiting and building on what learners had already completed with space and time for practice. These materials have had the company branding removed. I determined the progression of the topics and activities, wrote the script, found videos, created and found graphics, and developed the activities.
